Maribel lived living in Virginia and was raised by her parents and siblings, though details about them are scarce. As a child Maribel aspired to become an attorney and pursued an occupation in the legal profession. But after she completed the high school level, she decided to enroll at the University of Virginia. There she earned a bachelor's degree in Foreign Policy, with a Minor in German. The university is one of the most historically rich universities in the US, dating its history up to 1819, when it was founded by Thomas Jefferson, one of the people who wrote the Declaration of Independence. It has since grown to now offer over a hundred programs, around the location of Jefferson's Academical Village which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The central campus of the university is situated on a total of approximately 1600 acres, as well as thousands of acres within its research parks as well its farm. Maribel was a student for her Juris Doctor at New York Law School following graduation from the bachelor's program.
